Did you know…

… that a municipal law in the city of Rio de Janeiro requires condos to provide plastic bags for picking up pet waste? Besides setting that duty, Law no. 4327 of 27 April 2006 also sets a fine for condos that do not provide them.

The Pet Clean glove is that plastic bag with a hand inside: it picks up, turns inside out over the contents, and becomes the disposal bag.

Using it

The four instructions printed on the dispenser panel, in the order a resident meets them on the sidewalk.

  1. Put on your Pet Clean glove

Pull a glove through the dispenser opening and put it on.

  2. Pick up the waste with a barrier

The glove covers the whole hand, so nothing touches you.

  3. Hold the cuff and pull the glove off inside out

Turn the glove inside out around the waste and knot the ends with the tie tab.

  4. Done. Drop it in the nearest bin

The opaque blue hides the contents completely until you throw it away.

For condos

The duty sits with the condo. The fix fits on a wall.

The building manager or the management company answers for the law — and what actually works is a stocked dispenser on the way out for a walk with the dog.

Meets the law

Law no. 4327 of 27 April 2006 requires condos to provide plastic bags for picking up pet waste, and it sets a fine for those that do not.

Ends the sidewalk complaint

The sidewalk is clean in the morning and the topic leaves the meeting agenda. The resident has a glove in hand the moment they need it — and uses it.

No extra work for the front desk

The dispenser stays on the wall or the pole, stocked with 500 gloves. The resident helps themselves at walk time, without asking anyone.

Installed in under 5 minutes

It comes with all the mounting hardware and a plain manual. Anyone can install it, no construction and no technician.
